VOLUNTEER: The Arete Living Arts Foundation seeks volunteers to help with both office and creative work. We are an organization with many great programs. Among them are art exhibitions, multimedia performances, film and video projects, and educational & youth programs. We need volunteers of all types. Give us a little or a lot of your time. Anyone who volunteers for twenty-five hours will be given a letter of recommendation. Work with fun people in a creative environment and do something that is socially meaningful. We also have a need for people with film production skills, web designers, costume designers, and choreographers. The Board of Directors supports the executive staff, ensures effective organizational planning, assists with securing adequate resources to execute projects, and determines, monitors, and strengthens the organization's programs and services. In addition, board members are expected to make a personal commitment to Arete Living Art's purpose, act as an advocate to broaden the audience and donor base, make an annual leadership gift that is significant to individual means and participate in special projects or committee work as needed, based upon particular expertise or contacts.
